Coastal Plants Foraging Course
On this coastal foraging day we will explore the splendid range of sea plants available along the Northumberland Shore; from sweet & salty coriander grass to refreshing crunchy succulents.
Summer here provides an abundant harvest of tasty and nutritious plants; wonderful to eat fresh and also make superb pickles. This day will teach how to find, identify and preserve this astonishing resource.
We will enjoy a couple of hours exploring and harvesting, followed by a beach cook-up and wild food lunch. We shall also pickle some of the days finds; so folk can take a jar home.
